Marathon is considered to be the heart of The Florida Keys. Located approximately 50 miles north of Key West and 50 miles south of Key Largo, Marathon boasts an active commercial life. Marathon’s south-end border leads to the world famous 7 mile bridge where each year thousands of joggers run the Seven Mile Bridge Run. There it also takes place the Annual Speed boat Race tournament.
